Capture

Dance photography project

Through Capture, budding photographers worked alongside established dance photographer Pari Naderi. She worked closely with each participant to explore different techniques and approaches to capturing dance and movement on camera. Each participant was given at least one assignment to photograph a dance event during the Big Dance celebrations.

Work will be selected by the group for an exhibition that will tour libraries and galleries within the seven South London boroughs and is available to view in the online gallery. If you are a gallery, library or venue interested in hosting the exhibition please contact bigdance@siobhandavies.com.

About Pari Naderi

Pari Naderi is a professional dancer who has performed with some of the country’s leading dance companies including Siobhan Davies Dance. Her photographic work has developed alongside her dance career and her work has been used in marketing, editorials, and exhibitions.
