Points of Departure
Led by Joe Moran
Points of Departure is a participatory workshop for groups, exploring the making processes behind Siobhan Davies Commissions. For those with or without dance experience, it offers new perspectives on Siobhan Davies Commissions, and uses the artists' processes as points of departure for participants' own explorations during the workshop.
Points of Departure is a two-hour workshop for up to 25 people, designed for dance and visual art students and for adults, especially those working within the creative industries.

Artist Marcus Coates talked about his work. He is known for works where he films himself entering a trance like state that he calls ‘becoming animal’, and attempts to solve people’s problems by seeking answers from the animal spirits that he encounters.
