Is the project revealing anything to you about your history and the things that you have learned through your dance career and education? Has anything surprised you?

    This week we have been working on coding (as described by Deborah).
    I have really enjoyed applying a code to my movement material, and I think this is partly because it resonates with my earlier experience of studying languages. It reminds me, for example, of learning Cases in German: I learn a table showing how the definite article changes in German according to gender and case. It doesn’t mean very much as a table of words, but I have a picture of the table in my head. Then I learn to actually apply it in the language…
    There is something similar going on in my head when I am “coding”
