Layering

From having some time and space away from Portraits to encounter another task, we returned back to the solos for further exploration and development. I knew I had some feedback comments I wanted to address within it and Deborah had given us a useful idea regarding shifting thoughts. However, my experience of going back really surprised me. Once I began working with the material again, I found layers and layers of choice, thought and discovery. Another enlightenment! And such a good one for me to learn!
It was fantastic to realise that there is further to go and to feel interested in that journey of going deeper, that there are layers to uncover even within moves that may seem simple or less formed. The depth of my material was exciting and I felt so invigorated by that.
As Joe said, the intention is just the beginning…
