Siobhan Davies Studios presented work from Camberwell College of Art BA Illustration students who observed and created drawings during classes and rehearsals at the studios. The exhibition was a visual work in progress and a response to the dancers and their working process.

“I began to focus on not only anatomy but also the movement, gesture and rhythm which the dancers expressed. What evolved were a number of ‘gesture drawings,’ in which the dynamics of the tension between the form and its inhabited space became a pivotal element within the visual spectacle.”
