Youth Dance with Candoco Dance Company
Candoco dance company, the contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers, offers weekly youth dance sessions for 14- 18 year olds. Sessions begin with a company class followed by creative task work. All classes are suitable for disabled and non-disabled young people.

Creative Dance

A development of the Contemporary Dance class where participants can create their own unique movement material. Dance phrases will be broken down, rearranged and used as a starting point to create new material, resulting in your own dances which will be shared/presented within the group.

Kathak

Kathak is a classical Indian dance style, which originated from the ancient Indian temples and into the Moghul courts. It is still evolving and has become very popular in the west. Featuring rapid footwork and fast spins with sculpted poses, this dance gives grace, strength and co-ordination.
