A five day festival drawing from work in film, dance, live and visual art curated by five artists – Lucy Cash, Becky Edmunds, Claudia Kappenberg, Chirstinn Whyte and Gill Clarke – who have a background in dance and film-making. The festival responds to recent thinking about choreography as an expanded field, something that can be separated from dance and dancing and that involves unique ways of thinking about structure and embodiment.
What if... launches with a screening of Sally Potter’s The Gold Diggers and is followed by a long weekend of exhibitions, performances and interventions throughout the building alongside timed screenings.
