Work with Siobhan Davies Dance to learn simple techniques for incorporating kinaesthetic learning into your teaching practise, using an accessible, replicable methodology.
Using the ‘thinking body’ as the stimulus this twilight workshop provides you with a toolkit of tasks and resources for connecting dance to neuroscience and the curriculum. Beginning with a guided visit to Siobhan Davies Dance's performance installation material / rearranged / to / be in the Curve Gallery, you will then experience example practical dance sessions for EYFS, KS1, KS2, with no taught steps.
Adaptable approaches will enable you to develop and structure movement embedded in the school curriculum and beyond, supported by a detailed resource pack.
Please note this event is suitable for Primary School Teachers, teachers working with students with Special Educational Needs, and Primary Teacher Training Candidates only.
