Apply to be part of Next Choreography 2016-17, a yearlong course by Siobhan Davies Dance for 14—21 year olds interested in exploring choreography across the worlds of dance, film, visual arts, architecture, theatre and the written word. Participants learn different approaches to creating their own work and take part in the annual Next Choreography Festival at the end of the course.
During the course participants meet with a diverse range of artists and makers, and attend performances, events and exhibitions to explore how different art forms are connected through choreography. Guided by the Artist Facilitator participants have time in the studio to explore different choreographic approaches.
Towards the end of the course, participants co-curate the Next Choreography Festival sharing a little of the course with other young people interested in choreography.
