Giving the Body a Voice

with Emily Orme.

Programmed by Good Chance and Siobhan Davies Studios.

Connect, have fun and express yourself through movement!

This autumn Siobhan Davies Studios are partnering with Good Chance to provide free movement workshops as part of Good Chance Socials.

These sessions will explore communication through the body. Over six weeks participants will celebrate their individual body and culture, all whilst discovering new ways of moving creatively together.

Each session will run for about an hour each Friday afternoon, and will be followed by an opportunity to connect afterwards. It will be led by movement practitioner Emily Orme, supported by two volunteers.

The workshops are open to all female identifying people over the age of 18. You do not need any dance or movement experience to join in, only a curiosity to explore expression through your body in any way you feel comfortable. All access needs will be welcomed and the activities will be respectful of the plurality of bodies and experiences.

Good Chance Socials bring together refugees, asylum seekers, those newly arrived to the country and local Londoners to enjoy activities, meet new people and explore the city.

30 Sep – 4 Nov 2022
4.30pm – 6pm

These sessions are free to attend and travel expenses are reimbursed by Good Chance after each session.
