We are not responsible for the content of any website outside of our site. By default, this website uses a cookie, a text file placed on your computer, to identify you as a distinct individual to the extent that it is necessary for you to use this website. A cookie is a small data file that is downloaded on to ‘terminal equipment’ (like a computer or smartphone or other device) when you access a website. It allows the website to recognise that user’s device and store some information about the user’s preferences or past actions.

You can change your browser settings to remove, block or withdraw your consent for cookies at any time. But in some cases, this may impact on your ability to use our website. Browsers recognise different types of cookies and allow you to treat them differentially, as desired.

There are two main types of cookies, first and third party: First Party Cookies are those set by the website you are viewing. Third party cookies are set by other sites; for example, if a video has been embedded from YouTube, YouTube may set a cookie of its own.

Cookies can also last for different durations. Session cookies last until you leave the site, others may last for days or months so the site can recognise you and your preferences on subsequent visits.

We use a number of different cookies on this site, these are:

  • necessary cookies that are essential in helping users to move around the website and use its features such as events bookings;
  • performance cookies, that collect information about how users use the site, such as which pages are the most visited. These cookies collect anonymous information only and we only use any information to improve the site.

Hotjar tracking code

We use Hotjar to understand how users interact with our website; Hotjar produces heat maps of user activity, and records portions of some user journeys on the website. Hotjar collects data on the interactions of a random sample of 35 daily users. We use this information to improve and report on our services. This data is de-personalised but does require the use of first-party cookies. These cookies allow the Hotjar Tracking Code to function correctly. View a full list of the cookies set by the Hotjar Tracking Code here. You can opt-out of cookies by changing the settings in your browser, or by installing a ‘Do Not Track’ request. Hotjar details how to install a Do Not Track here.

We use the third-pary service Bookwhen to manage ticket bookings. Bookwhen uses a combination of persistent and session cookies to make their website work efficiently. Details of these cookies used by Bookwhen can be found here. On the same link you can manage your cookies when using this part of our service, provided by Bookwhen.
