We’re seeking a designer/maker to create bespoke garden furniture for the Courtyard Garden of our dance studios. Apply by Monday 24 November, 12 noon.
Installed in Spring 2026, this commission will mark the 20th anniversary of our building and launch the Courtyard Garden as a playful and welcoming space for all our building users.
We want to create furniture that supports the multiple functions of our courtyard and embraces curiosity, connection and welcome in its design. We imagine modular, moveable pieces that can be easily assembled in different and inviting ways. This adaptable furniture may also offer pockets of privacy to those seeking a moment of calm, or intimate events.
Primary funding for this commission has been awarded by Southwark Council as part of the Cleaner Greener Safer programme.
