Our lift is now working!

Black and white image of the head and shoulders of a female form, stood in a winter forest, in profile. Her two-tone blonde and black hair covers her face, her left ear and jaw line visible. She wears a vest, her bare arm dirtied with soil. The bare trees around her contrast starkly with the white sky behind.

Material Archive Launch: I Am Not Static | Jemima Hoadley in collaboration with Camilla Greenwell Fri 10 Mar 2023, 7pm - 10pm

A celebratory launch of Material Archive: I Am Not Static by Jemima Hoadley in collaboration with Camilla Greenwell.

I Am Not Static is an exploration of falling and recovery, using movement, conversation, photography, and video as storytelling. This project is a time capsule of 2020-2021 and the process of ageing during global lockdown. Read more about the exhibition here.

This launch event will include a screening of short films from the exhibition, at 8pm; followed by a conversation between Jemima Hoadley and sound artist Jennifer Bell, around the themes of change in midlife, explored through the work; and finally a Q&A with Jemima and Camilla.

The evening will close with time to explore the exhibition and share some drinks. Limited edition prints will be available to purchase and order at the launch event.
