Join us to see out the Year of the trusting Water Rabbit and welcome in the inspiring and ferocious Wood Dragon!
Following our Creative Contemporary Children‘s classes on Saturday 10 February, we will be celebrating the Lunar New Year with an afternoon of craft and a dance activities in our beautiful Roof Studio.
Craft activities: Throughout the afternoon.
We’ll be making Dragon Puppets, Mosaic Lanterns and Dragon Masks!
Chinese Ribbon Dance workshops: 1.15 – 1.45 and 3 – 3.30pm
Join Yuyu Rau, from New Earth Theatre, for a fun introduction to this dance originating in ancient China. Chinese ribbon dance has been performed for over 1000s years, using rhythmic motions and a long ribbon. Suitable for ages 4+.
There will also be tasty food! Including veggie spring rolls, prawn and vegan crackers, lucky fruit, yam cookies and fortune cookies, plus soft drinks and Chinese tea to share.

ACCESS AND AMENITIES AT SDS
Siobhan Davies Studios is mostly accessible, with lifts to all floors. There are two accessible parking spaces available on site which can be booked in advance. Blue Badge parking is also available nearby on West Square and Garden Row (for a full map visit the Southwark Council website). Our main door is power assisted.
