Lydia Swift is a dance artist and choreographer based in South East London. She is currently studying BA Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Lydia's recent projects include a collaborative commission for the Whitechapel gallery, exploring alternative futures, a dance film at the Jerwood Gallery by Webb-Ellis, about disaffected youth, and a collaboration with sculptor Darren Nixon, based on inhabiting objects. She has performed in a number of countries including Finland and Northern Ireland. Her interests lie in the crossover between dance and other diciplines, in particular the overlap between choreography and curation. Lydia is a current member of the Young Artist Collective at Siobhan Davies Dance.
