Each week, a different young artist will lead a session, sharing their developing choreographic practise.

Enter the realm of the unknown through tasks that unlock the body and brain to create a sense of absurdity and surrealism. Allowing movement, sound and facial expression to flow freely, unplanned and unfiltered this lab will help you to leave your inhibitions behind.

Bring along a prop to explore, tinker and test the use of objects in the making process and performance of choreography.

Maria Miguel Rodrigues- Techno
How can techno music inform choreography? What impact does different movement vocabulary have on reality and perception? How can repetition ultimately lead into change? This lab will dissect ways of working with techno music to create choreography.

Korallia Stergides- Locating Home
Using objects from home this lab will invite you to connect with your relationship to ‘home’ through free-writing, improvisation and use of materials.
