Morning Class

Book Now

Programmed by Independent Dance.

Open to experienced movement practitioners.

ID,a partner organisation based at Siobhan Davies Studios, offers a daily morning class for professional or experienced dancers, led by UK-based and international artists. Each week is with a different teaching artist who brings their own practice and approach. These classes offer a space to build and hone skills, work with other artists and be part of a growing community. You are welcome to drop in to a single class or to treat a week as a series. With a focus on movement explorations that attend to what movement feels like, rather than imitating an ideal form, we aim to make classes accessible for all physicalities. The classes embody an ethos of questioning, extending notions of what dance can be and for whom.

Each week is led by a different teacher who brings their own unique approach. Sign up to ID’s mailing list on their website to receive details about classes each week.
