Drawing from over 30 years of study and practice across a wide range of traditions, Belle teaches a fun and creative fusion of Hatha flow – at times dynamic – pranayama, meditation, as well as deeply restorative yoga nidra.

Belle’s aim is to inspire and aid her students develop a safe and enjoyable practice, to truly experience the beauty and many benefits these ancient yogic traditions can bring to modern daily life!

Before attending class at Siobhan Davies Studios, we ask participants to read our COVID-19 page and familiarise themselves with the precautions we’ve put in place to ensure the safety of staff and all our users.

  • We are open for pre-booked users only. We cannot currently accommodate walk-ups.
  • We recommend that users wear masks in the corridors and common areas of the studios.
  • We will continue to maintain a studio users tracking system. Your name and contact details will be kept for 21 days.

Prompted by back pain as a teenager, Belle took up yoga some 30 years ago discovering a positive shift not only physically: like a bubble of oxygen rising up though turbulent waters, with regular practice, yoga helped gain clarity to take the next best step forward.

Her desire to joyfully share this underpins her teaching since 2003 with formal training in Yoga Therapy (Diploma), Satyananda and Sivananda traditions.  Many years of Astanga Vinyasa, Iyengar and Scaravelli practice also inform her yoga journey.  

For the past 15 years, Belle has lead retreats internationally, incorporating her singer/songwriter hat to share mantra, music and singing too. Her London base since 2006 is the lovely studios & home of Siobhan Davies Contemporary Dance, running weekly yoga classes, workshops & 121 yoga therapy.

Through Yoga Therapy, Belle safely adapts practices for those with compromised health & for whom individual or small group classes are more appropriate. Her Satyananda training in classical teachings of asana, pranayama, mantra, meditation & yoga nidra continue to be a rich seam to mine, especially when the ability to practice dynamic asana is more limited.

Belle continues her musical career, singing & developing song-writing/guitar study, enjoying collaborating with fellow musicians & preparing to record again. She is a practicing Buddhist since 2002.
