This is a free shared office space to get stuck into your admin and organising: draft applications, budgets, plans, emails etc. It takes place in our Library for three hours once a week.
Town Square: Co-working is a space to work alongside others, quietly or in collaboration: sharing skills, experiences and perspectives. You might want to come alone and make new connections, or it might be an ideal time and place to plan a meeting with a friend or colleague.
Tea and coffee are available from our kitchen by donation.
Whilst you’re in the building, we invite you to come and say ‘hi’ and let us know what you’re up to.
Town Square: Co-working happens on Fridays, 10am – 1pm, most weeks.
Please book a place in advance. This is a free activity but you are invited to donate to a local charity when you book. This season we are raising money for Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers.
We want this space to be available to those who are going to use it. If you have booked a place at Town Square: Co-working but can no longer make it, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make your space available to others. Repeatedly booking and not attending, without letting us know, may result in a warning and then a temporary ban.
Fundraising for local charities
As part of Town Square, we encourage bookers to donate to a selected local charity. These charities are chosen to reflect our values and ways of working. Town Square users are invited to donate to the charity directly, if they feel they are able. This season we will be raising money for Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS) who provide a range of services to promote general wellbeing, health and education among asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in South London. You can find out more about them and the work they do here: sdcas.org.uk.
